Dispute a registry listing

Rescues on RescueConsole can file a safety listing about a person or an animal, and share it with the other rescues on the network. If you have been told that you appear on that registry, this is how you answer it. What you write goes to the rescue that filed the listing, and where the listing has been shared with the network, to the rescues who reviewed it.

What we will not tell you

Whether you are on it. A page that answered that question would let anybody check somebody else, one address at a time, and nobody on the registry agreed to that. It is the same reason our microchip lookup searches animals and not people.

So fill this in with the details a rescue would hold for you. If something matches, it goes where it needs to go. If nothing matches, you will not hear from us, and we cannot tell you which of those two happened.

The address a rescue would hold for you, if you can. If a listing matches, we email a link to the address that listing holds, which is this one when it is the one on file, and nothing is passed on until it is used.

Another way a listing can be matched to you.

Your address optional

The home address a rescue would have for you: another way a listing can be matched to you. We check it is a real address before it is sent.

In your own words. It is shown exactly as you write it, beside what the rescue wrote, and it is not edited by us.

What this is not

It is not a legal process and we are not a court. RescueConsole makes the registry and the rules it runs by; the rescues who filed and reviewed a listing are the ones who can change it. Your account is kept with the listing, so anybody reading it afterwards reads both.
