Medical protocols, Turnstile on your forms, Filters on more pages, related records, the registry in Animals, one arrival card, cage cards' cut line, Ready to publish asking for nothing, Add to People opening the application, the bio draft, birth dates with ages, dark theme and phones.

Feature requests

  • Draft it from the record is in an animal's Edit form too, above Description: the draft written from its record fills the box when you use it, and Save changes keeps it.
  • Adding an animal asks its age in years and months or its date of birth, and whichever you type fills the other, so an owner surrender's exact birthday is kept.
  • Medical protocols: your list of what each species and age group is given and when, such as FVRCP every 3 weeks until 16 weeks old. New intake, Quick add and the animals list apply the one that fits, each dose a record on Medical due, and a repeat stops at the age.

Enhancements

  • Add to People on a submission, and Link to them, now open the person's record, so the next step starts there instead of on a list the submission has just left.
  • On the demo rescue's public site, every form says at its top that what is sent is saved but no email goes out, to the visitor or anyone else, and the thank-you page says so too, so somebody trying the demo is not left waiting for a reply.
  • The Inbox has the Filters column the other lists have, in place of its two rows of buttons: Whose and What, each with how many there are, saved views, and a search over the items' words. Waiting, Urgent and Assigned to you sit above the list, and on a phone the column opens from Filters.
  • Roster and Sign up keep their filters in the Filters column too: Outcome, Sign-off, Doing and Where on the roster, Where and Doing what on Sign up, each with how many there are. The dates, and Sign up somebody else, stay above the list.
  • Lost and found, Costs and Field visits keep their filters in the Filters column: To read, On the board or Closed and whether it was lost or found, each cost's kind, and each visit's kind and status, all with how many there are. Lost and found's drop-down no longer spans the page.
  • The demo no longer keeps the platform's own health check as spam, the 96 a day that filled its Submissions. Every rescue's spam is kept 30 days, then deleted. Your site's forms show Cloudflare Turnstile, and the public chat's check works again.
  • Add to People on a submission opens the application it made, where the next step is, and the person only when the form makes no application.
  • Ready to publish asks for nothing: a photo, a description, vaccines and a microchip are nice to have, and Publish can be pressed with none of them. The adoption fee and the status leave the list, since Publish sets a public status itself.
  • A cage card prints at its true size in the middle of a Letter sheet, with a thin line at its edge to cut along, or on card stock at its own size when you choose. The PetSmart card's cut line prints too.
  • An animal's Profile says how it arrived once, under How they arrived: the Intake details card that repeated it is gone. The animal's intake date and source now follow its current arrival, and changing its source changes that arrival too.
  • An animal's Relationships tab now lists everything it is part of: the applications for it, its adoptions, foster stays, events, transports and transfers, each opening its record, with the kinds it has none of named in one line.
  • The Public Registry has a tab in Animals for the flags about animals, and People's tab keeps to the flags about people, each with its own counts, filters and Waiting for your review.
  • A person's record has a Related tab: their applications, adoptions, animals fostered and brought in, shifts with the hours entered, events worked, transports driven and tasks, each opening its record.

Bug fixes

  • In the dark theme the status colors are dark too: an overdue row in the Inbox, a warning or an amount owed sits on a deep shade of its color with light text, not a pale panel. The Inbox's own titles, invisible on its dark card, read again, and so do Reports' search box and labels.
  • Every page fits a phone. A record's tabs take two rows instead of running off the screen, a section of more than four pages is one list under the trail, and Animals, People, Donations, Inbox, Messages, Volunteer roles and the live board no longer slide sideways.

Littermates counted as arrivals, a denied applicant told, adoption follow-ups in Settings, a litter's mother, a clinic day's weights, chips and bill, certificates, and a clinic for owned pets: booked, done, paid and counted.

Feature requests

  • Settings, Finance & adoption, Adoption follow-ups: the tasks a finalized adoption makes on the animal's record, such as a check-in call 3 days after. Add one, change its days, turn it off and on, or remove it.
  • A litter can name its mother, or say she is unknown. Choosing her on the litter's page links her as the parent of each kitten on their Relationships tab, kittens added later included, and each kitten's Litter card names her.
  • From the animals list's selection: Record weights and Record microchips take a weight or a chip for each animal in a row of its own, and a medical record's cost can be the clinic's whole bill split evenly across the animals.
  • Rabies and spay or neuter certificates, printed from an animal's Actions menu with the tag, lot, vet and next due from its medical record. Adopters print them from My portal, and the receipt email lists them.
  • A clinic for owned pets: keep the public's own pets on their owner's record, set up clinic days with a place, hours and a limit, and book pets in for the services you sell, priced from your sales items. Check them in on the day, or mark a no-show.
  • At a clinic, record what each pet had done, with a vaccine's tag, lot and next due and the chip put in, and print its rabies and spay or neuter certificates. Take payment for what was done by card, cash or check, with a receipt by email.
  • Clinics count for Shelter Animals Count: each month's Veterinary Services, the pets by species and age under each line, ready to type into your SAC portal. Each clinic service says which line it counts under, and Clinic services is a new list in Reports.

Enhancements

  • Deny now offers Email the applicant, ticked, as Approve does: the message starts from your Application declined template when you keep one, and the reason you record stays with your team unless you write it in.

Bug fixes

  • Quick add, Save and add a littermate and Duplicate now record each animal's arrival from its intake source and date, so a litter entered that way is counted on the Intakes page and in Shelter Animals Count.

A lost and found board on the public site, sales over the counter, and field visits.

Feature requests

  • A lost and found board on your public site, when you turn it on: people report a lost or found pet with a photo, nothing shows until you list it, and the board never shows who sent it. Each report lists the animals and other reports it might be.
  • Sell over the counter: list what you sell with prices, and take a sale by card through your own Stripe (a code the buyer scans and pays on their phone), or log cash or a check. Receipts go by email, refunds are a button, and reports gain a Sales dataset.
  • Field visits: plan a stray pickup, a welfare check, a colony visit, a pantry delivery or an owner support call for a day and a person, and log it from a phone with what came of it and photos. TNR colonies keep their caretaker and cat counts.
