Space on a transport, shared with the rescues you work with: post a run or post what you need moved, price it, take payment for a seat, and hand the driver a sheet to carry.
Feature requests
- Share space on a transport with the rescues you are linked to: post a run with the crates you have spare, or post what you need moved, and find each other in one place.
- Ask a partner for space, name the animals riding and what each needs, and see whether they accepted or turned it down, with their answer beside it.
- Keep some crates back for your own animals, and close the book on a date so nobody asks the night before.
- A round trip, or a run that repeats every week, without typing it again.
- Price what you carry: your own list of services, flat or by the mile, chosen per animal on a booking, with the total on the booking.
- Take payment for a seat by card, into your own Stripe account, with nothing taken out of it by us. Paying accepts the booking, and you are both told.
- Or be paid by Zelle, Cash App, PayPal, Venmo, cash or a check: say which you accept, and write down what arrived. Only the rescue being paid can record it, and accepting stays your press.
- Ask to meet somewhere other than either end, and answer when a partner asks you. A place you turn down keeps your reason beside it.
- Save the places you use, with who to ring there, and pick one onto a run instead of typing the address again.
- A run sheet to carry: every stop in order, who to ring at each end, the crates, the animals, what each one needs, and what is still missing.
- Who handed which animal to whom, and when, written down at the moment it happens.
- Say what the weather is doing and whether the run is going, so nobody has to ring round to find out.
- The documents a journey needs, in your own words: a certificate of veterinary inspection, a rabies certificate, a state permit. Tick each one off per animal, and the run says what is outstanding.
- Your drivers are reminded three days before a run and again the day before, each with their own leg.
- Agreements that travel with a transport: write one in Settings, under Contract templates, to be signed on your own run, or by the rescue taking space on it with the services and the total in it.
- Other: every page that belongs to a workspace but has no row of its own, as buttons, with a line saying what each is for.
Enhancements
- An agreement can be narrowed to the kind of place a run ends at, so the surgery paperwork reaches the clinic runs and stays off the others.
- A transport run needs no legs at all: a run you are driving yourself is a run.
Bug fixes
- The registry keeps the scrambled form of a date of birth, a phone number, an email address and a microchip number to itself. A search still finds a flag by a value you already hold.
