A pet food pantry, for rescues that run one.
Feature requests
- A pet food pantry under People, off until you switch it on in Settings. Record each visit with the household or a walk-up, the pets it was for and the food that went home.
- The pantry adds up the pounds given out each month, by food and by site, with a ready-made report for grants.
- What the pantry keeps about the people it serves is your choice: named households, walk-ups, or both.
- The pet food pantry can have limits: pounds a month for each pet by its size, a household's most, and visits a month, with proof of need on file. Each is optional, and none of them stops a visit: whoever is at the table sees a warning.
- Partner agencies, organizations from your directory that the pantry gives food to in bulk, and households imported from a spreadsheet with how many pets they feed.
- The pet food pantry shows each month's Pet Food figures for Shelter Animals Count's Community Services Database: the animals fed, by species, counted once a month however often a household came, ready to enter in your SAC portal.
- Documents can be searched by what they say: the text of each document is read once, including a phone photo or a scanned PDF of a certificate, so a tag number, a microchip number or a clinic's name finds it. Text beside a document shows what was read from it.
- Documents can be emailed in: forward a vet invoice or a certificate to your organization's documents address, from the address you sign in with, and each attachment becomes a document. Put an animal's Pet ID or microchip number in the subject to file it on that animal.
Bug fixes
- Mailchimp now gets each person's roles as tags (Adopter, Donor, Volunteer, Foster and Pantry client), kept in step as roles change, so you can write to one group: a new resource for people low on funds to your pantry's households, say. The tags were not reaching Mailchimp before.
