Hear when something is assigned to you, write to several people with copies, transfer an animal to a partner rescue, name your message templates, put form fields in order, and print without the app around it.

Feature requests

  • An adoption or foster form becomes the adoption application the moment it has a person, with the animals the applicant ticked; the queue card carries the decision, the assignment and the way to the application, and one decision covers both.
  • A bell in the header: when a submission, an application or a task is assigned to you, you are told there and by email, with a choice under My account of both, the bell alone, or neither.
  • Transfer an animal to a partner rescue: link with them by an invitation to their email address (there is no list of rescues to search), offer the animal from its record, and when they accept, the profile, medical records, weights, photos and documents go across as a new record while yours is kept as transferred out.
  • Compose to several people, with copies, and bring animals into the conversation; a template that names the animal names every pet on the application.
  • Message templates have a name people read; the key is made from it and kept out of sight.
  • Settings / Forms: move fields up and down, change what a field asks and the help under it, and let an adoption or foster application ask which of your listed animals the applicant is asking about. The submission links to them.
  • The public registry and the website say who made a matching chip, with the maker lookup and the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup linked, for a finder who cannot reach the rescue.
  • Integration credentials are sealed at rest, and a cancelled account is purged after the ninety days the terms promise.
  • Applications have stages of your own before a decision: assigned, pending a third party, hold for a better match and any you add under Settings. The pipeline, the list and the submission card read and move them.
  • A meet and greet names who the applicant is meeting, staff, a foster or a volunteer, more than one; each gets a task for it, and the meet is on the calendar at its time with the pets and the people.

Enhancements

  • Submissions: a banner says how many were hidden as spam, Start a workflow offers only workflows for that kind of form, and an adoption application shows what happens after approval and the applicant own workflow runs.
  • The Feedback dialog leads with Tell us something. New task is the green button top right and opens in a side panel. Audit log under Communications is the Communications log.
  • An animal record reads Site and Unit for its location, the status pill takes the status own colour, and What this home needs, the medical summary and the people roles cards show their values until you press Edit.
  • Printing: the printed record, the cage card and the flyer print without the app header and menus, the organization footer is a section you choose, the header takes your public site colour, and the PetSmart card prints its sponsor logos with the QR mark aligned.
  • Bulk edit on Animals archives, the Animals list shows housing at a glance with a way to the board, and People bulk edit no longer offers a phone country code.
  • Public page settings say where events are shown, and a new site starts with an events section.
  • The application is the one working record: workflows start and show on it from the submission as well, the assignees are one list, and a decision made on either side is on both.

Bug fixes

  • The registry search no longer says No matches found beside a registration it found.
  • The hidden form field that catches bots was renamed so browser autofill no longer marks real applicants as spam.
  • Placeholders in General profile, Sending and Cage cards say Contoso rather than a name that looked like a real rescue.
  • A cancelled account purge that cannot delete a photo stops and retries the next day rather than reporting the account purged, and a payment made on Stripe after its link was refused is recorded as paid after refusal.

Sign the adoption contract on the approved application, build housing at each location, hand out team roles, bring your ShelterLuv animals in, and see every settings change on record.

Feature requests

  • Sign the adoption contract on the approved application: choose the animal or animals going home, answer what the contract asks, and the signature records the adoption.
  • Housing at each location: build the rooms, kennels and cubbies a site has, nest them, set what each holds, and see at a glance what is taken and what is free.
  • Team roles: give a colleague one of thirteen built-in roles, from organization admin to read only, or a role of your own with read, write and admin per workspace.
  • Settings history: one record of every settings change, who made it, when, and what changed, under Settings → Advanced & security.
  • Connect ShelterLuv in Settings → Integrations and your animals come across, read only, with their photos and intake details.
  • Add a medical record to many animals at once from the Animals list: the shared fields once, and each animal’s own in a table.
  • The roadmap on rescueconsole.com is built from your feedback: what is planned and what is being built, in the words you asked for it in.

Enhancements

  • An adoption is recorded only by signing its contract, so every adoption has one.
  • Your free months run from your first full month, so joining late in a month does not cost you one of them.
  • Program manager and Staff, two built-in roles nobody held, are retired; the team roles cover what they did.
  • Terms of service and a privacy policy on rescueconsole.com, with the legal name RescueConsole trades under.
  • Our Books in the platform portal chooses the Xero invoice template.

Bug fixes

  • A section of a record that fails to load fails alone; the rest of the record still shows.
