Each form submission has its own page, a checklist says what it is for and can ask a pass or fail question, and an animal’s record gains registry actions, a status panel and a better printout.

Feature requests

  • Each form submission opens on its own page: read the answers, see the person, and approve or reject it with a note for your team.
  • Assign a submission to someone on your team, add its follow-up checks as tasks, and work the person’s checklists from the same page.
  • Delete several form submissions at once.
  • A checklist says what it is for (volunteering, fostering, adopting, giving or anything about a person) and offers only the triggers that fit.
  • A checklist step can be a check you answer pass, fail or not applicable, and you choose what a fail does.
  • Search the Public Registry, or add to it, from an animal’s or a person’s record.
  • A starter list of twelve common medications, each with its strength, form and label dose.
  • The starters include a donor form, and a checklist for each form that starts by itself when the form arrives.
  • Delete a message template nobody has used.

Enhancements

  • Change an animal’s status from a panel that shows each status with its colour, its description and what it does.
  • About this animal is edited in place on the record, and it is what prints on the cage card and shows on your public listing.
  • Correct how an animal arrived after intake.
  • The placement details adoption applications are matched against can be set on the animal’s record.
  • An adoption is recorded from its approved application.
  • The printed animal record draws weight history as a chart.
  • Merge fields are buttons that insert the exact spelling, and they fill the same way in replies, templates and Compose.
  • A message with a merge field nothing can fill is not sent, and the template editor names the field.
  • Message templates are back in Settings, under Communications.
  • The PetSmart Charities card matches the finished printed card, with your sponsors’ logos.
  • A microchip lookup says what the animal looks like.
  • The Giving card shows the amount of a donor’s first and last gift.
  • What’s new shows each day with a short summary, grouped into features, enhancements and fixes.
  • If you are locked out, our support team can send you a new sign-in link or turn off two-factor for you.

Bug fixes

  • Adding the starter checklists works again.
  • The QR code on the PetSmart Charities card prints at its size instead of running off the card.
  • Change status works while the Profile tab is already open.
  • An animal’s location shows the unit’s name.
  • People added at signup, by invitation or from a donation keep their email.
  • Connecting RescueGroups.org asks for your account number once.
  • The logo is no longer cut off at the bottom.
