RescueGroups.org records come across nearly whole, the app works on a phone, and a form submission becomes a person on its own.
Feature requests
- Your RescueGroups.org records come across whole: animals with their photos, fosters and surrendering owners, people with their notes and employers, journal entries as medical records, events, and adoption and foster applications.
- Choose where each RescueGroups.org field lands, your own custom fields included, and say what their statuses and contact types mean in your rescue.
- New animal fields: energy level, indoor or outdoor, available date, special needs, distinguishing marks, good with seniors, adults and farm animals, sponsorship, and a previous ID.
- New person fields: referred by, availability and transportation.
- A checklist can start when an adoption, foster, volunteer or donor form is received, and a checklist step can create a task.
- Follow up a form submission from the submission itself: email the person, start a workflow, or delete it.
Enhancements
- The app works on a phone: the sidebar becomes a menu you open from the header.
- Settings is arranged in eight categories that fold away.
- A form submission joins the person on file with the same email, or becomes a new person, without anybody pressing a button.
- Donors and volunteers are people: a checklist message to the donor or the volunteer reaches the person the checklist is about.
- Task titles are links to the record the task is about.
Bug fixes
- What’s new fits on a phone screen instead of running off its left edge.
- Contract template text takes typing again.
- Testing a RescueGroups.org login no longer fails with an invalid filter.
- A person brought in from RescueGroups.org keeps their email when a phone number is added to their record.
