One Inbox for everything waiting on your team, and Today.

Feature requests

  • New intake walks one animal through arrival, health and photo a step at a time. Its record then shows Ready to publish: the photo, description, fee, vaccines, microchip and status it still needs, each with the place to fix it, and Publish. Quick add keeps the one-panel form.
  • A cage card's QR opens the animal's kennel page, laid out for a phone: what is due with Done, Weigh, Gave meds, Fed, Note, Photo and Move kennel, and what was done today and by whom, with Scan along the bottom. A volunteer gets the same page during their shift.

Enhancements

  • New Inbox: everything waiting on your team in one list, from submissions, contracts to sign, fees owed and medical due to short shifts, documents, gifts to thank for and notes from fosters, each with its own buttons. The dashboard is now Today, with the Inbox first and a Your site card.
  • Tasks are in the Inbox now, with their due dates, and Assigned to me is your own. All tasks still has the done ones and New task. Today’s agenda starts with what is on the calendar today, and Tasks and Calendar have left the sidebar; search finds both.
  • An adoption application has a Money tab: the fee, recording a cash or check payment, the pay link, how they said they would pay, finalizing and the receipt, without leaving the case. Submissions starts on what has not become an application yet; those that have are worked on the application.
  • A row in Animals, People, Donations, Shifts, Submissions or Medical due now opens beside the list: arrow keys or J and K for the next and previous, Esc to close. On Medical due you can mark an item done or reschedule it there, mark ticked items done at once, and print a day sheet.
  • Search (Ctrl K) now finds applications, adoptions, donations, documents, shifts, transports and organizations too, by every word you type, so jane henderson finds Jane Henderson. It starts New person, Log a donation and more, and Adoptions, Donations, Transports and Shifts have a search box.
  • Applications have a Board: a column per stage from Received to Going home, each card with the animals, its days in that column and what holds it up (a failed check, an unsigned contract, a fee owed, a registry flag). Drag a card between stages or use Move to. Mine shows yours.
  • Three more boards: Surrender requests (received, waitlisted, taking, arrived; Taking it holds a place with the day expected), Transports by status with what holds each run up, and Foster homes with the animals waiting beside homes with room. Their asks and offers reach the Inbox.
  • A person's record has a Timeline: every email, text, WhatsApp, chat, call, note, gift, application, adoption and document with them in one list, a box to email or text them from a template, and their applications, adoptions, giving and documents beside it.
  • The sidebar is ten hubs: Today, Inbox, Animals, People, Adoptions, Giving, Volunteering, Messages, Reports and Settings. Each hub's pages are tabs across the top of every one of them, the breadcrumbs follow the hubs, and every old address still works.
  • Settings opens on a page of its own: every settings page in its group, with a line on what it is for, and a search that finds a setting by name, such as time zone or rabies. Submissions, contracts and workflow runs now link to the form, template or workflow behind them.
  • Settings → Sending says how much mail you sent this month. Past about 300 from the shared address, the page and an email to your admins point you to your own domain; nothing is stopped. The page also lists the addresses your mail does not go to, and why.
  • A vaccine, treatment, procedure or diagnosis in Settings → Animal management → Medical can say which species it is for, and an animal is offered only those and the ones for every species: a dog's vaccines no longer include FVRCP or RHDV2. The starting lists come set.
  • Filters say words, not codes: a person's roles and status on the People list (Pantry client, not pantry_client), a shift's and a conversation's status, and the registry's flag types, severities and statuses wherever they appear. Activity's module filter is now called Area.
  • Settings → Team members sorts by name, email, joined or last sign-in, and filters by role (Volunteer portal, say), by who has never signed in, or by who is locked out. The sort and filters stay in the page's address, so a filtered list can be shared.
  • Scheduling a report, Send it to is a picker: type a name to add somebody on the team, and take anyone off with a click. Portal sign-ins are not offered, and a long list of recipients reads as two names and how many others.

Bug fixes

  • Signing out forgets you on that browser: whoever signs in next starts on their own first page, not yours, and never sees your notifications or anything else that was on your screen. When a session runs out, signing back in still returns you to where you were.
  • Signed in as a volunteer, Volunteering shows your own pages: My shifts, Find a shift and Events. The coordinator's Roster, which could fail to open, and Volunteers, which said Not found, take a volunteer to My shifts, and the bell shows only what opens there.
  • On an adoption's Ledger and an application's Money tab, the payments no longer sit against the edges of the card.

The adoption form, the application, the contract and the portal.

Feature requests

  • Your forms can now ask for files, such as a copy of a lease, a landlord’s pet policy or vet records. They are listed on the submission to open, and become documents on the application when it is added to People.

Enhancements

  • On your public forms, Country is now a list starting on your own country, and State or province is the list for the country chosen, so the address arrives the way the person record keeps it.
  • Every phone question on your public forms now has the country calling code beside the number, starting on your own country’s, and the person record gets the number with its country code.
  • The form editor now lists the questions under their sections, with Rename and arrows on each section, a Section choice on every question with New section, and a Section choice when adding a question.
  • A public form now checks a US or Canadian address when Send is pressed, and when it finds a better form of it, shows the applicant both so they choose Use this address or Keep what I typed.
  • An application now has a People card, between Assigned to and Pets applied for: the applicant and the co-applicant, each a click from their record and from Search the Public Registry. A co-applicant who is not in People can be linked or added from the card.
  • An application’s Messages card lists every email and text about it and with its applicant and co-applicant, and Send an email opens the composer in a new window to both, with your templates filled in from the application.
  • Show the contract on an application now opens the contract in a new window of its own, with the questions it asks, the contract, the name, the consent and Sign, for handing the screen to the adopter. Show it here keeps it on the card.
  • Type your full name to sign now starts empty everywhere a contract is signed: on the application, in the contract’s window, on an adoption’s Contract tab and on the page sent by email.
  • A contract sent to sign from home can now leave How will you pay? to the adopter: the signing page asks it, with the ways you take payment, and their answer is kept with the signature.
  • Once its contract is signed, an application lists each adoption at the top, with what is still owed, Open the ledger, The signed contract and, once finalized, The receipt.
  • Signing an adoption contract now ends on how they pay: the card payment link or your payment app’s handle with a code to scan, or the contract’s words for cash or check, emailed to the adopter too, whether signed in person or from home.

Bug fixes

  • Reopening a workflow check that was failed by mistake now takes back what the fail did: the application comes off hold, or goes back to where it was before it was rejected. A denied, withdrawn or approved application can also be reopened from its own page, with a reason.
  • My portal now shows an adopter their applications and adoptions when the sign-in and the application were made on different records with the same email, plus the contract waiting to be signed, what is owed with ways to pay it, and their receipt by email.
  • An adopted animal now leaves your public site’s list and your forms’ animal picker. Its own page stays, saying it has found a home, with no Apply buttons. An animal in the bin no longer shows on the site either.
